Conversion Journey Audit

We map every step from the first click to the final action. Then we tell you where users stop, and what it's costing you.

Biggest leak: stage 02 → 03

Your conversion journey starts long before the checkout, the form, or the booking. It starts at the moment a user discovers you — on Google, on social, on an ad, on a recommendation. Between that first touch and the action you paid for, dozens of small decisions can make conversions fail.

A Conversion Journey Audit follows the full path. We trace where users come from, how they land, what they meet on the page, how they navigate, and where they drop out of the flow. We test the conversion point itself — checkout, lead form, signup, booking, quote — under realistic conditions. We compare what you promise in your ads or content to what users actually find on the site.

The output is a quantified map of where you're losing conversions, ranked by the size of the loss. Concrete fixes, ordered by priority. No theory, no methodology lectures.

What this audit covers

  1. Traffic sources and discoverability

We map where your users actually come from — organic search, paid ads, AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), referrals, social. We test whether the right people are finding you, and what they expect when they arrive.

  2. Landing pages and promise-to-experience match

When a user clicks an ad or a search result, they arrive with an expectation. We test whether your landing page meets that expectation in the first three seconds, or breaks the match and loses the visit.

  3. Checkout and purchase completion

For ecommerce and any business with online payment. We test the full checkout: cart, address, payment method, shipping options, error handling, mobile responsiveness, and abandoned-cart recovery.

  4. Lead forms, signup, and booking flows

For businesses that convert through lead generation, account creation, or appointment booking. We test form length, field clarity, error states, confirmation, and the friction that makes users abandon halfway.

  5. Call-to-action and messaging clarity

We test whether your value proposition is clear on the pages that matter most. Whether your CTAs are visible, understandable, and aligned with what users are trying to do.

  6. Trust signals at the point of conversion

Reviews, certifications, guarantees, social proof, security badges. We test whether the right trust signals appear where users need them, or whether their absence creates last-second hesitation.

Common questions about this audit

What does a Conversion Journey Audit actually cover?

The full path from how users discover you to the moment they complete the action you want — purchase, lead, signup, booking. We test traffic sources, landing pages, navigation, the conversion point itself, and the messaging consistency across all of it. The goal is to find where you're losing conversions and quantify the loss.

How is this different from a CRO agency?

A CRO agency typically sells you ongoing A/B testing programs. We sell diagnosis only. We tell you where the leaks are and what to fix first. You take that roadmap to your team, your agency, or your developer. We don't run the tests. We don't execute the fixes. That's why our recommendations are honest — we have nothing to sell you after the audit.

Do you check that my analytics and tracking work properly?

Yes. Before the audit, we verify that your tracking is reliable enough to support the analysis. If the tracking has gaps, we flag them — you can't measure what you don't track. We don't sell a separate "analytics audit" as a product. It's a baseline check included in every audit.

Can a Conversion Journey Audit work for a B2B SaaS?

Yes, often with more impact than for an ecommerce. B2B SaaS funnels have more steps (acquisition, signup, activation, trial-to-paid) and each step is high-leverage. The same methodology applies — we map the journey, quantify drop-off, and identify the most expensive friction points.

How long does it take?

Two to four weeks, depending on the scope. We agree on the exact scope and timeline before starting. Price is locked at that point too. No surprises later.

What if my problem isn't the journey, but the traffic or the product itself?

We'll tell you. If the audit shows that the journey is fine but the traffic quality is poor, or the product isn't right for the audience you're sending, we say so — and we point you in the right direction. We don't pretend to solve problems that aren't ours to solve.
